Dr. Shoals (full name Dr. Victoria Shoals) is a playable character in Divekick. She is based on the Marvel character Doctor Doom, specifically his appearances in Capcom fighting games.

Biography[]
Shoals is the youngest and brightest Podiatrist in her field. She works mostly in the sports medicine field, and spends time researching Ped Urino, commonly called Foot Dive, a very rare infection seen only in the feet of professional Divekickers. Shoals wakes up one morning to find that she has somehow contracted Ped Urino on her face! She dons a mask and builds powerful iron boots to allow her to compete in Divekicking competitions, in an effort to get closer to the people she’d need to study to find the cure.
Appearance[]
Dr. Shoals wears a long doctor robe and a nurse's hat. Her face is covered with a mask similar to the one Doctor Doom wears, however she wears an additional medical mask over it. Her hair is long and pink. In her hands, which are covered in gloves, likely to protect her infection from spreading, she holds a note pad and a pen to note her discoveries. Her feet are protected by sturdy, mechanical metal boots to minimize the chance of her contracting Ped Urino on her feet.

- Divekick: Dr. Shoals kicks at a 75° angle. Pressing
again changes the trajectory to 15°. - Ground special: Brilliant Escape. Dr. Shoals propels herself backwards. The move lasts as long as the buttons are held and drains Kick Meter.
- Air special: Death From Above. Dr. Shoals floats in the air, throwing off attackers hoping to catch her during her descent.
- Kick Factor: The startup for both kicks is drastically reduced.
